“Venice light” security stirrups have a revolutionary safety mechanism which, in case of need, allows a section of the ring to open, thus easing the release of the foot; thereafter, with the aid of a stainless steel spring, the section moves back into its original position.
The spring allows the moving part to stay closed during horse riding activities and opens only when a certain pressure is applied (opens when you need it and not when you don't!). The locking mechanism of the moving part is cushioned by a rubber insert on the ring which allows it to be particularly reactive in case of need.
The grip, with the TS patented design, helps avoid accumulation of mud and water, giving excellent adherence.
"Venice light" stirrups have been designed with a 3 ° sloped tread to improve stability.
Like all of TS patented Tech Stirrups they are 100% made in Italy.
Tech Stirrups "Venice Light" are lathed from aviation grade aluminium billet and then fastened with stainless steel screws. They are anodised (20μm treatment) to preserve their aesthetic quality (it won't flake off!!).
The shape of the stirrup leather loop itself has been designed to allow ease of foot positioning and stirrup recovery.
TS stirrups does not need special leathers. Classic stirrup leathers can be used.
How to put your stirrups on the saddle
The rings of our stirrups are provided with direction marks:
R = RIGHT – L = LEFT
R and L marks should point towards the rider.
We recommend stirrup covers 'socks' to protect your saddle while lunging or 'running-up' stirrups on the saddle
This model is suitable for an easy replacement of the pad.
